Dr. Charbel Kortbawi is an osteopath, and chronic pain specialist with a masters in neurosciences, practicing in Beirut and Paris since 2009.

He holds:

• French Diploma in Osteopathy - Ecole Supérieure d'Ostéopathie, Paris, France. 

• Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine - European Council of Osteopathic Schools, Geneva, Switzerland.

• Masters (MSc) in Neurosciences - University of Paris Est- Créteil, France.

• Diploma in Clinical Anatomy and Radiology - Université de Versailles, France.

• Diploma in Chronic Pain Management - Sorbonne Université, Paris, France.

• Diploma in Pain management of the musculoskeletal system - Université polytechnique Hauts de France, Valenciennes, France.

Dr Kortbawi, practiced at LAUMC-Rizk Hospital from 2009 till 2013.

Lecturer at the Lebanese University from 2012-2020, teaching manual therapy of the spine at the Department of Physiotherapy.

Founder and director of ActiveHealth Clinic, in Achrafieh, Beirut, since 2017.

Specialized in the treatment of sports injury, back pain, TMJ problems and chronic pain (chronic back pain, headaches, fibromyalgia etc...) and patient education for chronic pain management.

Practiced at the American Hospital of Paris in 2021 (Maternity- osteopathy for pregnant women).

He consults in his private practice in Paris (Victor Hugo), France.

Member of the rehabilitation commission of the SFETD.
